The Practice

At Eden Osteopaths we treat a wide range of problems. We most commonly see patients with low back strain, neck pain and other joint injuries. We also treat breathing problems, stress related symptoms and support post-operative rehabilitation. Our patients range from the very young to the very old.

Katrine has a special interest in working with children and pre and post natal women.

Working with Children

Children respond extremely well to osteopathic treatment. Children's potential for healing and general vitality means they require short treatments and generally only one or two sessions.
Symptoms and conditions that are appropriate for osteopathic treatment include difficulty sleeping, persistent coughing, asthma, constipation, poor digestion, back pain and headaches.

Pre and Post Natal Care

Katrine has supported many women during pregnancy and after birth. Eden Osteopaths recognises that the child bearing years, although full of great joy, are also very challenging both physically and mentally.

Pregnancy and child birth are a testing time for the body. Extra stress is put on the spine and pelvis as well as the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles. Every woman wants to enjoy this special time and so helping to relieve some of the not so pleasant effects can make a real difference to how fit and positive women feel at the time of birth.

Once the baby is born some women can feel overwhelmed by tiredness and constant feeding. In some cases back and shoulder pain develop and these can be easily treated and advise given on how to reduce strain and remain pain free.

Supporting, nurturing and enjoying young children is intense, hard work as well as hugely rewarding. Many parents forget to look after themselves during this time when their bodies may well need help to cope with the strain of carrying, lifting, bending and holding small children.

Eden Osteopaths is here to support you and your young family .
